Strong Password Generator is an Android app published by Pascal Jauquet (JPCW). This policy explains how data is handled when you use the app and this website.

Passwords and local vault
Saved passwords and their labels are stored on your device in a vault encrypted using AES-256-GCM. The app does not offer cloud synchronization of this vault, and the publisher does not receive the contents of your passwords. Data remains until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app, subject to any backups you have created.
Import and export
Export creates an encrypted backup file that you choose where to store or share. If you transfer it to a third-party service, that service’s privacy rules apply. Import reads the file you select. Keep your backup password safe.
Google AdMob advertising
The free version displays ads served by Google AdMob. Depending on your region, consent choices and actual SDK configuration, Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, usage information and technical data to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Where required, an appropriate consent mechanism must be presented before the relevant processing. You may manage advertising choices using options available in the app, where provided, or your device settings.
Premium purchase
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase called “Premium / Upgrade”, listed at €4.79 at the time of writing. Payment is processed by Google Play, subject to the price and terms displayed in your country. The publisher does not receive your bank card details. Google may process information required for the transaction, entitlement verification and purchase restoration. This is not a recurring subscription.
Support and website
If you use the support form, information you provide (including name, email address, subject and message) is used to respond to your request. The website server may also keep technical logs needed for security and operation. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of processing of personal data handled by the publisher, and object to certain processing. Contact us through the Support page. Passwords stored exclusively on your device can be managed or deleted directly in the app. If applicable, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
